XML Tuning Mods
Requires World Adventures -This is a fix I created to remove the world restriction on the WA insect spawners from China/Egypt/France so that foreign insect spawners now work on any world/neighborhood that is not Shang Simla/Al Simhara/Champs Les Sims. The mod also increases the chances of less common/higher value insects spawning, and decreases the chances of lower value insects (cockroaches & moths) spawning.
This is a .package file. All you have to do is place this in your My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Mods/Packages folder.

You can now place WA spawners in any lot/world that is not Shang Simla/Al Simhara/Champs Les Sims and the rocks/gems/metals will still spawn. This mod also increases the chances/probability of higher value R/G/M spawning such as supernovium, tiberium, palladium, moonstone, rainbow gem, vampire's eye, etc.

Another XML tuning mod I created to solve one of TS3's many arrogances. Stops horses from eating the newspaper before you can bring it in to read with your cup of coffee. I have not yet tested it fully because long before I created this mod I've started keeping my horses in pastures and also have an electronic safeguard gate, which keeps the stupid paper boy off my property (and the newspapers on the other side as well), so the newspapers have been out of reach of my horses.
Most people probably don't find this a problem, but my Sim owns multiple lots that are next to each other- pastures, to be exact- where my horses are to stay, since I can't keep them all on my home lot. Good thing I locked the gates, because they would all autonomously want to "go home" and they'd pile up at the gates and forget to take care of their own needs! It was so damn annoying because they wouldn't sleep or eat or even take a piss if they desperately needed to, all because they had to "go home". You ARE home!
Anyways, this XML tuning mod removes the ability for ALL Sims to autonomously "go home" if they are not on their home lot. This means horses, dogs, cats, and humans will not do this anymore.

Some of us have too many horses to regularly groom daily. Some of us want to take a snapshot of our horses out in pasture. Some of us find that snapshot ruined by a stinky horse's green stench in the background. This mod will remove the green stinky effect from horses that have the grungy or smelly moodlet, but it will not remove the possibility of horses getting those moodlets after sometime of not practicing personal hygiene.
